You are invited to join us in person or online; come to them whenever you feel like it.
Dates: Every Sunday, unless otherwise notified in the St Michael’s Weekly Newsletter
Time: 7:00-7:30pm
Location: St Michael’s Church, Church Lane, Budbrooke CV35 8QL; Zoom Meeting information in the St Michael’s Weekly Newsletter , or contact the office
Retreat to Advance
Retreat to Advance is an annual practice every Lent where we reflect on selected Bible passages to hear God speak into our lives and the life of the church. If you decide to participate, you’ll need to set aside time each day of Lent (5-6 weeks) to prayerfully read and reflect on the Bible passages, which will be given to you. There will be different passages for each week. Write down what you feel God is saying, and share it with the groups you attend or directly with Mary Lodge, who coordinates Retreat to Advance.
Resting Space
Resting Space is a monthly hour of guided prayerful reflection for anybody who would like to take time to rest in God’s presence. A typical Resting Space includes a time of quiet, then a guided meditation, questions to reflect on, and the opportunity to share if you wish. Everyone is welcome; just turn up.
Dates: Saturdays, once a month. See the St Michael’s Weekly Newsletter for details
Time: 10:00-11:00am
Location: St Michael’s Church Centre, Church Lane, Budbrooke CV35 8QL
Half-Night of Prayer
The Half-Night of Prayer is a seasonal time of prayer and worship for breakthrough in particular areas of focus for our church. Our last Half-Night of Prayer (in September 2024) focused on breakthrough in growth for our church and for the September-December Alpha Course. The Half-Night included prayer and worship, broken into six one-hour sessions, each hour themed on one part of the Our Father prayer. People came and left all the way through the half-night.
Dates: Seasonal. See the St Michael’s Weekly Newsletter for details

Pray for Five
Praying for others to know Jesus is one of the most powerful things we can do. Our “Pray for Five” pattern is simple:
Choose five people you’d like to regularly pray for, and write their names down onto a list. If you’re not sure who to pray for, ask God to guide you as you choose.
Once you’ve settled on five names, commit to praying for them regularly. St Michael’s has pamphlets to give you ideas of how to pray for your Pray for Five list.
We welcome everybody to take up Pray for Five.
