We are in a time of clarifying before God the specifics of his call to us. We know this involves mission, and a call to a deeper walk with him.
Reflections in the last couple of years have pointed in the following directions:
We feel led to start a Fresh Expression to reach those in the new housing developments of our parish.
We want to see a 'vibrant' Christian presence on Chase Meadow.
We are committed to reaching the more established communities of the parish, and want to develop the ministry of The Open Door Cafe to fulfil its vision of being the church in the village.
We want to develop our work amongst young people and seek good connections within the local schools.
We will look to work with other churches to achieve more together.
We seek structures that nurture effective discipling.
We are looking towards more clarity emerging from all these things early in 2010.
