At the heart of our desire to model worship, prayer, community, hospitality and mission we believe that the longer term ministry of the Church Centre will involve some form of residential element.
This will most likely take the form of a Community House(s) in which those who live there choose to commit time into the development of the mission and ministry of St Michael’s.
Whether interns, or choosing to live in community whilst employed, house members will receive discipling input, coaching and training as they grow in the practices of effective mission that they can take away and apply in any context.
For that reason, we see this pattern as one that can be multiplied to other churches more widely in the Diocese and are in discussion about how this may evolve and develop in the coming months and years.
If this vision stirs your heart, then we’d love to hear from you.
