St Michael’s is very much alive with the increasing growth and development of the young people we work with in many different ways.

Our Youth ministry has a varied calendar with occasional activities and events so please check the notice sheet for the latest information, but these are underpinned by a regular pattern of activities, detailed below:

The Rock

The Rock Youth Club is run by St Michael’s Church (term time) and is open to anyone from school years 7 upwards. The vision of the group is provide a safe place where those from all backgrounds of life can join together to embark on a night of fun, joy, games and encounter more of God’s relentless love for us in all we are.

We run two different groups to accommodate different age groups and needs. You can locate us at the Chase Meadow Community Centre, (Narrow Hall Meadow, Warwick, CV34 6BT) on Friday nights from 7pm. Why not join our Facebook group here.

  • 7pm – 8:30pm is for anyone in school years 7 – 8
  • 8:30 – 9:30pm is for anyone in school years 9+

Youth Band

Many young people are passionate about music, and working together in expressing that gifting in worship is a great opportunity to grow as worshippers and disciples. Our young people meet, practice and play as a band together, at the same time learning about the God whom we gather to worship.

Youth Band leads worship in church roughly once a month, but they also serve with our other musicians contributing to this important ministry. You don’t have to be a musician to be part of the youth band, getting involved with the technology of the sound desk or computers running the visuals are always valued and appreciated.

Sunday Youth

Every week (term time) our young people (year 7+) are involved in our worship. Sometimes that means they play an active part leading and element of a service or contributing and serving, other weeks our young people leave part of the service for a more focused discussion, study or group time.

Youth Bible Studies

An important part of the vision here at St Michael’s, is to further the growth and development of our young people in their walk with Jesus – and we feel a crucial way to do this is through studying his life and word through the Bible.

On a Sunday evening from 7pm – 8:30pm, we run a Youth Bible Study where we split into 2 different age groups (School years 7 – 8, and school years 9+) to go through a study of some scripture that can help young people find purpose and a future for themselves, and to begin exploring and investing in that future.
